Help us get the word out about OMBA!

The Oklahoma Mountain Bike Association is looking for a Social Media Coordinator. 

As a non-profit, we know that staying in contact with members is vital to our existence. We’re looking for someone who can publicize local events and showcase our club activities.  Your efforts will play a crucial role in promoting interest in Oklahoma mountain biking and expanding our membership.  

OMBA manages and maintains nearly all of the local trails where you ride. Plus, we’re now gearing up to build more local trails! Membership outreach and funding are critical to our mission. 

This person will create and manage content for our social media platforms, publicize upcoming events and activities, and highlight member stories. In general, this position is designed to increase our online presence and better engage the MTB community. And, its flexible! Most of the work can be done from wherever you are. Visiting the events to gather photos and video is a plus but our board members will help gather content for you to feature. Also, website management skill would be a plus!  

OMBA has no paid positions; all work is performed by board members and other volunteers. As such, this is also a volunteer role. However, the individual filling this role will gain valuable professional experience helping to grow a vital local organization.
